Installation and adjustment of fire detection and fire-extinguishing systems
Installation of the fire suppression system and fire alarm is carried out after the purchase of equipment and preparation of the facility. This can be a greenfield installation or an upgrade to an existing system. In some cases, new equipment is integrated into an existing security and fire system in order to expand its functionality and provide additional safety. During installation, the connections of the fire alarm systems with the communications of the facility, ventilation and smoke removal systems, and security alarms, if any, are necessarily taken into account. The main elements of the fire alarm system are:
- Sensors for detecting and localizing a source of ignition, smoldering or smoke (sensors, detectors of various designs and operating principles);
- Annunciators, including sirens, loudspeakers, light detectors, announcement systems and others;
- Actuators for primary automatic fire suppression;
- Receiving and control equipment for collecting, analyzing information provided by sensors;
- Control panel.
Installation is carried out only by qualified specialists. After installation of all systems, it is necessary to connect and test the operation of the equipment, only after that its commissioning is allowed.
